Class Details

For our most experienced participants, Advanced movement mastery provides a high-energy workout incorporating cardio, strength training, and balance exercises in a circuit format. Each class continues to focus on mobility, range of movement, strength, balance, and coordination. A dynamic 60-minute session tailored for older adults who’ve already attained a commendable level of fitness and confidence in their movement abilities. Amidst a vibrant atmosphere of encouragement and camaraderie, this class integrates a circuit format, offering a diverse range of exercise stations designed to challenge and elevate your physical capabilities. With a focus on enhancing vitality, strength, balance, and overall fitness, this class is designed to energize both body and mind, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for your continued journey towards optimal health and well-being. Suitable for participants who have successfully completed the Level 3 Advanced Balance Builders class or demonstrate proficiency in advanced seated and standing exercises, as well as the ability to engage in continuous physical activity for at least 45 minutes. Additionally, participants should currently engage in physical activity 2-3 times per week or lead a fairly active lifestyle to ensure readiness for the challenges presented in this advanced class. Tailored for individuals seeking a dynamic and challenging workout experience, this class is ideal for those ready to push their boundaries and explore new levels of movement and fitness. Participants should feel comfortable with moderate exercise intensity and be open to utilizing a variety of equipment to enhance their workout regimen. Additionally, participants should either be confident in getting up and down off the floor or be working towards improving this skill, as it may be incorporated into certain exercises. Class Includes: Circuit format incorporating cardio, strength training, balance, and flexibility stations to provide a comprehensive full-body workout complemented by a thorough warm-up and cool-down session. Emphasis on functional movements and exercises aimed at enhancing overall vitality, muscle strength, bone density, cardiovascular health, flexibility, and range of motion, with a focus on mastering the skill of getting up and down off the ground. Personalized guidance and modifications provided by experienced instructors to accommodate individual needs.
